EPL Fixtures: West Ham v Arsenal Preview
Expect a goal fest tonight between West Ham and Arsenal. The Gunners is leading the EPL table with 2 points more than 2nd-placed Manchester United and 1 game in hand. The young Gunners have certainly sprinted out of the startig blocks, winning the 5 of the last 6 league matches.
Manager Arsene Wenger has assembled a formidable side despite the early pessimism surronding Henry’s departure to Spain. West Ham will be blessed by the return of striker Dean Ashton. The Hammers had incidentally won their last 3 meetings with Arsenal. But we would not bet on it being 4-times lucky, at least not against this young and energetic Gunners
Our prediction: West Ham 2 Arsenal 4
At Birmingham, Champions Manchester United is likely to grind out another narrow 1-0 win. In mid-week Carling Cup, Red Devils were eliminated by Coventry after Ferguson fielded players like Phillip Bardsley, Danny Simpson, Jonathan Evans etc. Birmingham will not expect such favors from Ferguson as he will be anxious to avoid another defeat.
Our prediction: Birmingham 0 Manchester United 1
