EPL Fixtures: Big Match Today (Manchester United vs Sunderland)

Sunderland manager, Roy Keanne is returning to Old Trafford tonight.   Once hailed as a natural successor to Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, he was magnificent in his first season at Sunderland.

He had a good start on the opening match of the season, after a hard-fought victory over Tottenham.  However, things just went wrong after 3 successive defeats.  Tonight, he can expect another defeat at his former playground.   Keanne’s mini-Man-U squad (consisting of Andy Cole, Dwight York, Liam Miller, Higginbotham, Kieran Richardson and Paul McShane) has to display the performances of their lives if they dream of upsetting the Red Devils.

Manchester United’s confidence has been restored after the 1-0 win at Tottenham.  With Nani’s quick feet and long-range adventure, Sunderland could be in for a hard time.

Our predictions:   Manchester United 2 Sunderland 0

Other Key Matches Predictions
Arsenal 2 Portsmouth 1
Arsenal have made a decent start to this season.  Fabregas is in excellent form and they have 7-points from 3 matches.  Portsmouth is going to face a difficult times playing away.

Aston Villa 1 Chelsea 1
Aston Villa has maintained a great home record against Chelsea.  Its last defeat to Chelsea was in 1999.   It might be able to force a draw at home against mighty Chelsea.

Liverpool 3 Derby 0
Liverpool is without Steven Gerald and Jamie Carragher.   But the Fab 4 strike force of Dirk Kuyt, Peter Crouch, Andrily Voronin and Fernado Torres would prove too much for Derby.  The question is only a matter of the winning margin.

Fulham 0 Tottenham 1
Tottenham was unfortunate not to at least gather a point at Old Trafford last weekend.  They are in a good position for a win after thrashing Fulham 4-0 last season.
